It has been almost a year since Project ReRoot went from being nothing more than the omnipresent muse for all of my daydreams into being a living, breathing part of my life - the dialogue between myself and the communities I am a part of.

Piles of mementos and magazine tear sheets saved, organized and reorganized into notebooks and folders: recipes, restaurants, gardens, dresses, poetry, letters written but unread, newspaper clippings, essays on social responsibility and what it means to be a part of a community, persons and places of interest....all that has served as inspiration over a span of a decade..worked into my internal compost...... heated and at times scalded by  experience....decomposed dreams from the past serving as fertile ground for the things currently planned and soon to be planted.

There is no more time to squander. The season is now.

It is time to ReRoot.
